I'm not sure if this is on or off topic, so I will just post and hope for the best.

I am a fairly new mapper, little over a month, and I use cc3+ as my mapping engine. I am a member of the profantasy forums, where I have been learning how to use the software, and I joined here to learn more of the logistics of 'realistically' mapping my worlds. I figure the more people I have critiquing my maps, the more quickly I learn in both areas!

Sorry, I digress... Anyway, there is a mapper there that has some amazing techniques for creating streams, riverbeds, and cliff sides for battle maps, cityscapes and the like. We recently convinced her to share her techniques, and she is currently writing up tutorials for them.

It occurred to me that since I will be posting my maps on both sites for feedback, some of the cc3 users here might want access to these tutorials. I have asked the author of the tutorials, and the site moderators and admins for permission to link back to her tutorials when I post the maps using her techniques.

I also realized...after the fact... that I should also ask permission here, as I don't really know the policy for that type of thing. So that is my question: are we allowed to post links to other mapping sites for tutorials/techniques/ and such?
