Free Use Map in need of a serious Redesign

Created this map some time ago with an online resource and offered it freely to anyone who wanted to use it.

Left most of the areas nameless so anyone could make their own lore, the only thing I named was "The Orb" which is an enormous impenetrable Dome Arena for Gladiator style battles between Men and Beasts alike. The concept was inspired by the Galapagos Islands. The cluster of islands were formed by volcanic activity, and sit in an area where Hot And Cold fronts, Warm and Cool Tides, and High and Low Pressure systems all meet in one place. This eerily consistant anomaly has created and abnormally diverse set of ecosystems in a small area, and some very destructive storms, making the area home to many shady characters and cast outs. Racism is still present, however due to the sheer number of cast outs that look for shelter on the islands, even those cast out of the under dark may find solace here, and the diverse population has had to become more tolerant of each other in order to achieve any form of civilization.

the island furthest left holds active volcanoes. The Next Island is larger and home to a very large Dormant volcano, which is now an elevated Lake. The other islands do not appear to hold any visible volcanoes at first glance, however the Northernmost Island's largest Mountain has hot springs, and a hidden passage leads to a fantastical underground ecosystem complete with another volcanic lake and a small bio-luminescent forest.

What I am asking for is a redesign from someone with some skill. I like the general layout but it all looks patchy and the limited resources prevented me from making a decent tropical island with an elevated Volcanic Lake. Instead I had to make a regular lake and surround it by little mountains. I would also appreciate a change in scale. As it stands, it looks quite small, but i'd like for this to look like an entire province. So added detail from a talented cartographer would be much appreciated. Feel free to fill in some areas with smaller settlements and such if you think you it would look better, but the Volcanic Island and Tropical Dormant Island should remain unpopulated by any settlements, as those are supposed to be incredibly dangerous and accessible only by boat.

Ultimately, I'm leaving this in the hands of someone with some skill to make this province appear larger, more detailed and more professional. It is free to use by anyone, and would like it remain so after the fact. If nobody is willing to help, I may offer to pay in the distant future if my situation changes, but at the moment I'm a stay at home dad.
