Empire of Dor-en-Sann historic map

This is a historic map of the island continent of Anasthias in my world of Helevos. It's a political map showing nations as they were approximately 1100 years ago before an event called the "Great Collapse", caused by a combination of climate change, drop in sea level, famine, war and political and economic disintegration which overturned all the nations depicted here. The modern nations of Anasthias grew from the ashes of the Great Collapse.

The Empire of Dor-en-Sann was the biggest and most influential empire in history, but a "union of unions" more akin to the Holy Roman Empire than the Roman Empire - united by trade and religion more than armies. In its dying days the Empire fought with its eastern rival, Saloya, over dominance of the strategic kingdom of Emanuné (and the city of Vahltor). Distracted and weakened by this struggle, both ignored the growth of raiders on their borders, who eventually plundered and burned their great nations, turning ancient cities to dust.
