Pieter, I just realized that I'd really want to see the map without the coastline. Would you be so kind as to post such a pic ?

Hey Thomas, I'll be happy to provide you with a no-coastlines version when I have a little bit of time, but it won't necessarily be pretty. I was kinda lazy when I did the coastal mask and used the linework first and based the rest on it afterwards, which results in a lot on 1-pixel wide errors hidden by that black line. And other than you'd expect, they are pretty visible. So if I provide a no-coastlines version, it'll be after a little clean-up.

Okay! So I did some more work on the background layers, and a ton more teeny tiny tweaks in the roofs that were already there. Most will probably be entirely invisible, but there you go.

Next up is adding some texture to the mainland (some farmland, some fragmented woods, some solitary trees and some terrain shading) and then I guess the main part of the map is finished! After that I can start work on the insets, and the rest of the frame. Not quite finished yet!
