Armenia rises to prominence as the Mosulmani Caliphate and the Byzantine Empires are busy fighting amongst themselves. Miaphysite church grows strong enough regionally to influence other nations politically and militarily. Armenia consolidates power in the Armenian Highlands due to a combination of luck and opportunity. Having subdued nearly all minor nations in the highlands Armenia begins its renaissance: a flourishing cultural explosion of art, architecture, and philosophy. Armenia appears to be the golden jewel of the Middle East; as poor harvests and blights sweet across their historical enemies.
