Howdy folks. I briefly appeared a long time ago but never actually visited the site that much, for a bunch of reasons. I've recently decided to try and take mapping a bit more seriously as a hobby, and I've shared a map in the completed map forum, so hopefully a mod will approve that at some point. I'm a would-be writer of fantasy fiction, and mapping the worlds I create is a huge part of the fun, which I've recently lost. The plan is to start a new map, and I figured this would be a good place to find advice and tutorials.
