    Default Guild Dungeon

So here we go again... another community project to map a dungeon this time around.

What we have decided upon is that we should not try to map extensive sections of dungeon but to do bits of it and then piece them together into a giant jigsaw of dungeon.

So that were all approximately at the same scale your maps need to be scaled to approximately 100 pixels per 5ft grid square and if possible to be of about 2000 pixels square total or less. That doesn't have to be exact but its a general guide. Were aiming to collage them all on to a big map with a black background so it would help if far beyond your dungeon walls you dont fill it in with a pattern. I will clip out the dungeon bit of your map and find a place to put it onto the overall jigsaw. Maybe the mapper can tell me where its best placed or we can discuss it but thats the plan. It would be best if you did leave a grid on your map. The grid should be 5' which is pretty standard.

In order to help us get nice seamless transitions between the sections we need to blend one section into another. Instead of doing this at a natural doorway its much easier if we do it over a bit of straight corridor. So just ensure that some parts of your dungeon have some exits on straight bits of corridor. You can use 5' or 10' wide corridor.

You may also map caves. Thats totally fine. Either put some entrance to them on your map as a corridor like a dungeon or else just dont put a grid on the map at all and ill scale it so that I get a nice fit somewhere.

Good luck - lets get a pile of dungeon bits together and see what comes out of them !
