Hello all.

I'm a fantasy map enthusiast. I have been drawing maps since I was a kid, which just gets longer and longer ago. I'm a writer and I use the maps in world building and just for sheer aesthetic pleasure. I've mostly drawn by hand, but I am hoping to get more into digital drawing and editing than I have in the past. I thought this forum would be a good resource for me to attempt to improve my skills, especially in that regard. I have some experience with GIMP, but need more proficiency. I downloaded Inkscape this week to try out as well.
I still like drawing by hand, and I may have to explore ways to integrate that enjoyment with the digital finish available on the computer (as well as the reproduction ability of digital).
