my name is michael metzger. im an addict....i am obsessed with maps and globes. i am an amatuer cartographer. i work mainly with hex grid maps and hand drawn maps. and i mean actually hand drawn, not with a computer program, i actually pick up pencils, pens and paper and create maps. im almost done with 8 years in the military where i originally had plans on being a battlefield topographer but instead ended up being a truck driver. i joined to see all the fantastic maps being created by fellow map lovers. and at this time in my life i have hand drawn 4 complete worlds and hand drawn maps to several of my favorite games including a version of the britannia map from ultima. at some point i plan on posting all of my maps here.
