In Remembrance of Le Guin: Gethen

After hearing of Le Guin's passing I remembered a map I drew up a few years back for a Science Fiction professor I had. The Left Hand of Darkness is my favorite novel of hers and I enjoyed the physical descriptions and environments that exist on the planet Gethen.

This map is mechanical pencil on sketch paper (medium surface/heavy weight).

I spent some time researching other versions of Gethen maps. Some were political, geographical, or zoomed in on specific locations in the novel.
