Heya, folks. I'm new to map-making, can't draw to save my life and no $ for a decent map creating program, BUT I have a great imagination. :-)

I wandered around here a while ago (months? over a year?), and I admired ya'll's handiwork, & snatched a few that appealed to, thank ya very much. :-) I have a map of a throne room in the works, but it's hand drawn on grid paper, so I don't think it's up to snuff for posting. (Have to go look at the rules later.)

I do have a question, though. I searched and didn't find what I was hoping to, so I'll wander off to another forum to ask if anyone has what I'd like to find.

But here's my intro:

I'm 54 years old, been playing AD&D since I was 17, and a few other games along the way, including the old WoD games, Traveler, Champions and Witchcraft (using the very White Wolf-like Unisystem). I've both run and played these games, and have made my own maps before, but like I said...I really have no skill at it. It's mostly reference stuff for me when I DM. My best friend and long-time DM, though....she's an artist w/talent and training (commercial arts degree)! Her hubby has the CC3 program and uses it pretty well. I make boxy-things on graph paper. ;-)

Anyway, glad to be here, and hope I can give back some stuff that might inspire you better artists.

Kim
