The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

Your portfolio is one I think could benefit from a little bit of an overhaul.I would suggest adding a big button at the end of your "about me" and "why do I need a map" text that directs the viewer to your portfolio, and one that directs to a method of contacting you, since you've created a call to action but someone has to scroll back up and find the 'portfolio' or 'commission' button to discover your art or how to contact you. You could even shift everything that's on the portfolio page to your main page above or below the call to action on the front, since your sample collection is relatively small I think you could definitely get away with presenting the art on the front page. The comprehensive contact page with information to provide is a great touch, so I'd probably just make it a clear linky button that says 'commission me' after the call to action and one that says 'view portfolio', basically replicating the top navigation underneath as well.
