Continental Map for personal science fiction project

Project Scope:
Personal Project, a story set in the universe of Star Trek. I'm designing an Alien planet and I've been trying for a while (Over a year) to do it on my own but realized I just don't have the skills to make what I want.
I want it to be a map that I can look at and use to create countries, cities, and such, and know what the climate is like in that area - using the climate to then inform how structures are built and how people dress, etc.

Setting:
An alien planet - the name of the Planet is Galdor

Design Concept:
An elevation and climatological map of a planet. There are 4 continents that are all fairly separated from one another, and at least one polar continent. I've got an image of what I imagine it to kinda look like under the following link.

The idea is that each continent is like an Australia in regards to biodiversity, so they're fairly unconnected to one another.

Number of Maps:
2 maps.
One showing Topographical Data. Earth example is included in the above link.
The second map would be a climatological map, using the topography to inform climate types. Probably using the Köppen climate classification.

As for Quality and Size: I'm hoping something fairly detailed, so you can zoom in and see detail. Professional Quality is not required, due to this being a personal project.

I have no time constraints.

I would like reproduction rights to the map, but the artist can retain full copyright.

Payment:
I honestly don't know how much would be expected to be paid for a project of this scope. If anyone is interested, please tell me your rates for something like this?
