Hello Guild,

I almost feel guilty submitting this piece, considering that I'm merely compositing a few DEM images that I downloaded from USGS. Even after I've modified the coastline extensively and added some northern island chains in my attempt to make the original region almost unrecognizable.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet developed the skill to assemble the DEMs in such a way as to avoid closed drainage basins, which detract from the realism of the image. Essentially, my incorrect placement of topographic features ultimately will require either a large lake or an ugly cluster of closely spaced rivers to rectify (both of which I loathe). For those who have mastered this process, can you offer any pointers regarding the placement of each separate DEM image to produce a seamless composite?

As always, I'd appreciate criticism here, especially since I'm foraying into an unfamiliar subfield of the atlas-style.

Thank you!
