Hello everyone!

Maps and cartography have always fascinated me, and even as a kid I'd re-draw them from Atlas' and history books, or come up with my own to play on. Fast forward thirty-odd years, and I'm a graphic designer, artist and artisan who's rediscovered his early love for the matter through sheer happenstance after being commissioned to craft one in leather:

And just like that, I caught the map-bug again and began offering more commissions through Etsy, as well as starting to draw and sketch on my own in both digital and traditional forms. Here are a few more examples:

Lately, along with working on more maps, I have been developing various map assets to offer to the community, both for world maps, region maps, as well as battle maps.

Besides art and mapmaking, I have many other interests and experiences, including history, sports, gaming and literature, to name a few. I have worked as a gaming journalist for a bit and love to write and worldbuild in my spare time. I had a short stint in archaeology studies in my late teens and that allowed me to do some local topology mapping on the field - the professor's logic having been "Hey, you draw dirty pictures in your notebooks, so you should draw these maps for us". As many folks here, I have been playing tabletop RPGs for a long time - on and off, for almost 20 years in my case as a "forever GM" (sigh) - and mapmaking has been a significant coexisting contributor to that hobby as well. I don't know if I love RPGs because I love maps, or if I love maps because of RPGs.

And with all that said, I'm looking forward to learning and sharing more with this community of like-minded people, and to making even more maps in the future! I don't know if I've missed any crucial information, so feel free to ask me anything, and I'd be happy to answer or just chat!
