Just completed a private commission of a lich's bone ship, and the four levels within, two in the skull "tower", and 2 huge decks in the main ship. Also including an illustration of the bone ship's exterior. Rather than posting the entire maps - they are huge, only posting insets of most of the levels, with the bottom level showing the entire thing.
Top level is in the crown of the skull, and the only solid enough area to hold an atmosphere, if and when this ship leaves the atmosphere, so living guests can reside. Of course "guests" is in quotes, as most are used for fuel (ship runs on life force) or for the lich's various experiments. Top level includes lockable cells for two each, a torture chamber with a device to transform the living into the undead. Stairs down to next level.
Second level behind the eyes of the skull, is the lich's personal quarters and library with a housing at the center holding the lich's phylactery giving off an eerie green glow. On his desk is a dark tome, and a crystal ball (hard to see). Stairs down from upper level passes a door into this level, then stairs rounding down to the third level.
Third level is the lich's laboratory. I posted an inset of the start of the lab, the circular area at the very center (all created in 3D), which I opted continue using to create other devices for the lab. Starting at the top and going clockwise. At top center is doorway into the central lab, so that space is kept open, going clockwise, next is an emergency wash station (yes, even a lich can spill corrosives that are bad for bone, so might need washing off), then an ice coffin (a bed to place a corpse and flash freeze it), then a electrical zapping booth, then an oven/kiln for possible cremations, then an acid bath, then an undead regeneration bed (negative energy instead of positive), then a pipe organ (I needed something to create sonic damage - lol).
Fourth level is the bat fighter hanger and deployment deck. The lich's military forces can be deployed through a 50 foot wide, 100 foot tall drop door to allow troops to the ground, or let pilots take the bat fighters for aerial reconnaissance and assaults. The ship's engine is at the center... enjoy!
The ship design, and much of the interior was entirely created using 3D software (Wings 3D for modeling and Vue Creator for lights, textures and rendering), however, elements of the walls and layout were created in vector using Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 365.
