Just joined CG. I'm an aspiring science fiction author, but have loved maps all my life - when I was a kid my entire bedroom was wallpapered with maps, anything from National Geographic inserts to highway maps. I want to make some maps of the interiors of O'Neill cylinders, as my story's setting is a vast number of colony cylinders in the asteroid belt, among Jupiter's Trojan asteroids, and in the Kuiper Belt.
I'm 66, a retired Marine and (second career) retired psychotherapist with some clinical reference nonfiction books in print. Hobbies include building PCs and woodworking. I live in New Mexico with my wife and some elderly cats.
I'm looking forward to enjoying the content and company on this site.
