Hand drawn maps

This is a map that I did for a fan module in Middle Earth focusing on the southern part of the continent. Unfortunately the maps aren't joining together right. I did it on two pieces of paper. I will try to rescan and see if I can get them to join a little better.

This is the kingdom of Harshandatt, and is one of the nations that later make up what is called Far Harad. Most of this land is desert, and very harsh, but along the river valleys the land is fertile, but still quite warm. The mountains in the west are filled with natural springs which keep the main river flowing year round.

I didn't write the module, I just did the map... I did the map with colored pencils, but I can't get my scanner to catch the colors of the pencils quite right. I have done several maps in this style, but I am having a hard time scanning them to get the results that I am after.
