    Post Greetings from a Dominions 3 mapper!

    Howdy:

    I'm new to your forum. I have been having a lot of fun making maps for Dominions 3, a very fun strategic fantasy game. Do any of y'all make maps for war games?

    Thanks all.

    I am currently working on a map that is semi-based on the empire of Alexander the Great, except that I want it to be wrap-around. So, some of the geography is pure fantasy. Fun fun.

    Welcome Pasha! I had a quick look at Domions3 and am a little confused. It looks like a 3d RTS - presumably it comes with its own editing engine to make new maps with? I.e. you can't just make a map in say, photoshop, and use that. Is that correct?

    Looks like an interesting game. I play lots of boardgames and one day hope to actually design one with a map of my own making. That would be intended project #234!
