    Help CC3 n00b - Emulating an old CC2 map

    Hey all,

I am complete newbie to CC3, I just purchased it last week... My post here is actually 2 questions:

1.) Does anyone have any good links to some good CC3 tutorials out there anywhere?
I don't care if they are text or video tutorials, however I did already watch the Joe Sweeney video tutorials on YouTube, linked from profantasy.com (and found them quite helpful).

2.) I have a map for a medieval fantasy kingdom that was done in CC2 several years ago, and I would like to update the map. However, I am finding that it is nearly impossible to keep everything to scale. I am looking for a way that I can drop the entire old map onto a sheet, and then place the new symbols, drawings, etc on top of the old map (kinda like using layers in photoshop). The problem that I am having is that if I convert the old map to CC3, then it wants to place everything on different sheets instead of one. It seems like an extremely tedious task to move all the current symbols and everything to the common sheet - does anyone know a better way or have some advice?

    Thanks to all...
    -BAM

    Welcome to the Guild.

There are a few CC3 tutorials here.

To answer your second question, you could do the CC2 -> CC3 conversiion, unfreeze all layers, select all and then place all on the Common sheet. Basically 4 steps and 10 seconds to do.
