Default Poken around the net for map images

I was looking for a map I saw in the opening credits of New Amsterdam a show that was on Fox but may be canceled by now.

Anyway, I found a couple images I thought fit around here that I thought I would share:

    Manhattan 3/4 view photo

Intersting map but they hosted it upside down kind of funny.

    I like that photo, interesting.

Yeah I like that photo alot. It reminded me of some of the stuff DJ has done as well as whoever it is that does those sketches while at work..(sorry man can't recall the name off the top of my head).

I thought the way the detail faded out almost made it look like a dream and would be something one of us could use at some point for a muse.

Huh. Never even heard of that show. But then it's on Fox, which I try to avoid except for football games.

I thought for a minute they'd done a show based on Elizabeth Bear's 'New Amsterdam' stories and I was like 'Sweet!!'. Oh well.

I only know of the show because the guy playing the lead is Danish. Anyway...

The '40s aerial photo is totally sweet. I somehow can't stop imaging giant armored zeppelins tethered to the tops of those skyscrapers. Played waaay too much Crimson Skies...

I second Daelin, never gotten around to watching it... or did I see the first episode, I might have...
Love the manhatten photo, really cool looking. Also a very nice up-side-down map ... maybe it'll look right on the other side of the world?
