    Hello, I'm new to these forums and new to map making in general. am really not good at drawing in photoshop and GIMP, although I hope through this website I can gain some tips so that one day I may be able to make some good maps for my play by post forums which is currently a work in progress and far from complete. This site is very interesting and I have been reading through a number of threads. I hope to be here a while and I hope that I can one day be as good as some of the people here

    My real name is Dan, I am 17 (18 on the 20th June). I enjoy a lot of sports, mainly football (soccer) and snooker. I enjoy reading and role playing as well, and enjoy playing my xbox now and again as well as watching movies

    Welcome to the Guild! Make sure you checkout the Quickstart Guide to Fantasy Mapping in the tutorials section. The tutorials in there are great and will take you straight from the absolute basics. Don't forget to post your work in progress!

    Liverpool have done since I could talk.

    I've been checking out the tutorials and am working through the city mapping one. It is very helpful, and it's coming along nicely (for a first map). This site is very useful and helpful for beginners like me
