don't know the map - but have you looked in the finished maps thread?
...of netiquette, but I've looked all over and run every search I can think of, but I cannot find a map that I know exists. I saw it on here a few days ago and should have downloaded it then, but didn't (for whatever reason). Now, I'm thinking that it would be perfect for my game on Friday night, but I can't find it again.
It was an underground pirates' den, complete with dock. It was composed of two or three maps, if I remember right.
My original plan was for something smaller, but on more consideration, that might be perfect for my needs.
If you created this map, or you know which one I'm talking about, could you please refer me to it? I've searched using "ship," "boat," "bilander" (which I thought was the name of the vessel used in the map), "pirate," "lair," "dock," and "wharf." I've been looking for hours!
Thanks.

It kinda sounds like one of torstan's - but I'm not sure.

Hmm..rings a bell and Torstan is the first one comes to mind on this but I'm thinking there was another set around here somewhat recently. I'll go poke around because now it bugs me.

It wasn't Torstan's, and I could not find it in the completed maps thumbnails. The search continues...

Yep, that's not one of mine I'm afraid. What kind of style was it in? Realistic? Old-school blue and white?
I think it might have been one of the entries to the one page dungeon contest. Found it. Was it this one?
No, but that is a pretty cool one. Unfortunately, I need something scaled for minis (which this was, IIRC). I was done in realistic (textured) style, and did not look hand-drawn (not that there is anything wrong with your work, Torstan; nothing at all...).

Glad to hear it.
I don't remember seeing the map that you mentioned, but it might be quickest to have a browse through the finished map thumbs pages. It'll take a little time, but it should be there. Good luck!
No, I've already checked the finished maps thumbs (unless there are updates beyond the first post) and it isn't there. It may well have been a WIP, I seem to recall several comments and it was multiple posts.
