Map Just trying out a different style... Continent of Gurn for DnDungeoneer

I've only really done overly-textured "helicopter view" (thanks for a name for it Gidde) regional maps so far, and I saw an easy-sized map request for something in the style of Mike Schley's Faerun map. This is what I turned out. This was the first time I thought to myself, "this would have been way easier with a tablet."

pretty cool - that's got mouse hand cramp all over it. I know I go to bed sometimes and I swear my hand is stuck in this claw like shape from drawing with my mouse. LOL

I like that - it's simple and clean. The only thing I'd suggest is maybe making your coastal stroke a bit darker; having it the same color as the rivers looks odd to me.

    Lovely style, I like it.

I think I would not use a gradient for the forest, more something like a dashed or dotted line (as used for the steppes). But that is only me.

    Keep the good work on,
