you're off to a good start with your first map. I would suggest smoothing out some of the land areas. Especially if you're going to do region labels. LIke more areas similar to that flat olive green area you've got scattered around. Good Luck Mirro.
Wanted to say thank you to the Admins and Community for making availible such an amazing resource. I've been playing D&D (all it's incarnations) since 90' along with various other systems as well and am finally sitting down to create my own campaigne setting. I've included a link to the world map i'm working on I considered inserting it here but it's pretty big please feel free to hit me up with any suggestions.

Welcome to the Guild! And thanks for sharing a map on your first post...have some rep for that. Did you use some of Ascension's atlas-style tutorial for this? I ask because the mountains look similar. Looking forward to seeing how you develop your world.

Thank you and I did use a some of Ascension's techniques which I have to say was a great tutorial for those new to photoshop. I'll keep the link updated with the most current version as I populate it out. We're actually running a game side by side with the growth of the map. Can't wait to see how it turns out myself.

As a newbie here myself, I've been getting a lot out of the tutorials, too.

Hi Mirrodan,
Nice use of Ascension tutorial; that's gorgeous. Good luck with the game.
Developing that map in tandem should be fun. Thanks for the idea,
