    Default Hy everyone

    Greetings!

I'm a french fellow, and I just discovered this site, searching for a map creator software. It seems perfect to what I was looking for, because it can be used with a free software (I have Gimp for Mac)! Although I saw the results of some members, and I was impressed about what can be done .
I'm just a beginner in Gimp processing, and I don't have any other tools in drawings softwares. I hope to improve easily and fast with all the help you propose!

Why am I here? Because I'm creating a RPG universe of my own, and it needs illustrations of its geography. Making my maps would be the best to illustrate it, and although for my scenarios of other games.

I am a RPG gamer for 10 years, and I'm 21. I masterize for about 7 years in some Medieval universes. And I'm from France, so please excuse my bad English.

    Hello Kikouk,

I am new here, myself, and started studying the gimp tutorials (which is all I have right now, too); they're very helpful.
I look forward to seeing some of your work for your campaign.

Welcome, for those new here we have a community world here. Its under the CWBP - thats Community World Building Project. Before you start a new world check this one out cos its all downloadable, has a wiki and lots and lots of effort from everybody put into it. If you can fit your world into it then run your adventures there and add to the place or donate spare maps from your past adventures into the pool of places.

    Thank you everyone!

I already managed to do some things with gimp today (I'm proud, because I'm starting from the very (very!) beggining!). I hope it will work for the next step ;-)
I am really enjoying this community.

About the world project you've created, i'll get a look at it, but my world is already almost done, and the map is already drawn... But that's not a problem, I will probably add some maps to the list as soon as I will be good enough to do so.
