    Map 2 Geopolitical Maps

A couple of geopolitical maps I've done (with lots of help that I've found here) while I let my main project percolate.

The former looks a lot like Germany pre-WW1. All the same, nice maps. I particularly like the relief on the first.

Indeed, the similarity with the old German Empire cannot be denied. Good map, however, the border lines seem a little bit unclean.

Yep, I stared out with a map on the coastline of northern Europe and modified that. It's meant to to suggestive of an alternate history Germany. I haven't come up with a method of making political borders that I'm entirely happy with. It would be nice if you could do dash-dot type lines in Photoshop.

    Nice maps. Have some rep.

I thought you could specify linestyles in PS? Maybe I'm thinking of another app...will check it out later when I'm on my "art" computer.

I appreciate political maps. Good job and indeed the first one reminds me of Germany.
