No WIP yet - I just wanted to commit to the challenge ... and I've just woken up and still need my breakfast

Now if I can just figure out what is concidered NY of all that building mass out there... *lol*
This is why you actually have to read the post..I guess if aliens took over NY no one would really care what the street names were...Sorry for skimming and commenting. Excellent Idea BTW..

Here is a map from 1948. It is for the subway but you can probably make out which bridges are there.

anyone got any good ideas of stuff from the 50s that might lie on the table - please buzz me... also, what gun would people have used then? and if you can, feel free to link to an appropriate picture of what you're talking about

Added a gun and an item to the list of things that might kill aliens - it turned out however, they only got mad

I'd think "Fire" would be on that list. I guess "Bullets" wouldn't be, because that would have been the first thing to fail before falling back on trying things from a list. I suppose fire might have been tested right away if there was a flamethrower handy. If it were me I'd probably go ahead and have bullets on the list (crossed out), but as I wrote, that's not actually realistic. I just think it'd be amusing.
