Here is finaly the second and final part of the challenge: WestHeaven under the watchfull eye of Nilebog the goblin king.
My Idea for this challenge came while I was reading through the other contestant work and listening sideway to a movie : the house of a thousan corpses by rob zombie. So I decide to mixte a lonely inn with Mr. Zombie senario of horror.
In one month from now, I should try to present WestHeaven to my little player group of at least lvl 5 by then.
So take a look and enjoy.
The last part of the second book should follow very soon.
Ciao,

So here is the final portion of my challenge. I also included a larger pic of the goblins arena (you only have to replace the sacred hoard by a fighting area).
In the next post, I will put a bigger version of WestHeaven 3 maps so you can get a better look at it.
Take care,
Alu.

The bold red labels overpower the maps. When I look at them, I find it difficult to see the terrain and structures because my eyes are drawn so insistently to the labels.
I like the book format, although it's a little odd that every page is tattered in the exact same way. Did you produce the parchment yourself, or is that a stock image? It might be a good resource for everyone if we had some collections of similar-looking pages with different ragged edges.

I know about the red color, but it was done on purpose, same for the text label of the goblin book: I tried to think of a way a cultivated goblin would write the whole thing.
As for the terrain, I wanted to make a difference between the 2 books (human vs goblin): the human put the interest on the building specification and the goblin to the location on the terrain.
If you want to see the map clearly, check on the human book since it’s the same one.
Sorry but I took a scroll page that was in my images folder. I don't remember If I did it or not...
And you are right; I use the same scroll background for all the pages. I'll try to do better next time .
I hope those explanations will be helpful,
Alu.
