    I grew up with antique radios (My father was a dealer) some of the "art deco" sets of the late 30s and 40s were incredible works of art. I still have a couple to this day that play beautifully (just hook up a 6 volt dry battery fiddle with the antenna coil and Voila.. )

    Yeah, I wonder if you can modify one of these for use on a map and not get sued?

    Reminds me of the old Stereo I grew up with that had these round dials that were green. I kept that thing for a long time. I always loved those dials.
