Pretty cool, I like the subtlety of the shading. The woodcuts in the lakes look a little off compared to the coasts, though.
Another recent commission I completed. This is to be the background navigation map for a Windows Phone 7 game.
Sorry for the watermarking, but as the map is completely unlabeled (the game will paint in markers and labels as the map is explored, battles are fought, and new areas are revealed) I needed to make it unusable to others.
The coast outlines, rivers and lakes were finalized in Inkscape, then the remainder of the map was hand drawn in Gimp with a tablet.
The background texture was from scratch, basically following my parchment tutorial.

I've been meaning to try out your parchment tut; this just gives me more inspiration. Awesome map.
It looks pretty cool...you definitely made it unusable with the watermark. That is a really straight coast on the southern landmass heading up towards the northern one but the map does look like it's quite good. It's too bad you can't trust posting honest images on the net without having to worry about some bone-head ripping them off.
Thanks for sharing. I hope the game has lots of success and I'm sure with this cool map it's going to have a boost.

Here is a video of the game being demoed. You can see the map in a few places. It looks good with the cloud animation above it:
