Little city? Looks great!
M
Here's a little city I threw together using Campaign Cartographer.
Anyone who uses CC3 knows that elevated sections of land are not easily created, so I wanted to experiment a bit. I put the northeastern tip of the land mass on a cliff. I'm not 100% satisfied with how the cliff turned out, but I think it's one step closer to where I'd like it to be.

You could always pull it into a paint/drawing program such as GIMP to add those last little finishing touches. One small thing I see is that the fields very large and long. Of course, it depends on if they are part of a collective farm for the city or "corporate" interest as opposed to private farmers.
All in all a very nice map with lot's of individual houses....

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Yeah, I considered doing some post-processing in PhotShop or Gimp, but at some point I want to figure out how to make it work directly in CC3. I know it's possible, I'm just not there yet.

Nice street layout loongtim! Altough I think one bridge is not enough to connect both parts of the city.
Creating the illusion of height is very difficult in CC3 and with this style I would suggest adding some lines in a dark grey from the bottom to the upper end of the cliffs.
I'm curious how you did the farmlands.
- For each plot, I made one straight line and then used copy/paste to create all the parallel furrows. I used the eraser to adjust lengths.
- Then I put a color background behind each plot.
- Then I used sheet effects to blur, etc (obviously, you'd need to change these settings depending on the size of your map)
- Background:
- Trasparency: Opacity 30%
- Blur: Blur Radius 50
- Furrows
- Blur: Blur Radius 5
- Trees
- Bevel: Length 8, Strength 35, Fade 5
- Drop Shadow: OffsetX 4, OffsetY 4, Opacity 50, Blur Radius 6
- Glow: Inside, 45-58-12, Strength 1, Blur Radius 40
- Glow: Outside, 0-0-0, Strength 1, Blur Radius 4

Hmmm, simpler than I thought.
Thanks for the tips...
