That's some nice stuff! A very calming map. Have some rep for it!

I put this together over the last couple of days, mainly to play with different textures, etc. I tried to do a subtle texture application to the mountains; it turned out okay, although I still want to perfect it further. The distressed paper was made by http://hardwayjackson.deviantart.com...et=24#/d1xszys at DeviantArt. Fonts used were Roman Antique and Monotype Corvisa.
This is the western part of a tropical continent; this part is overshadowed by the Vasarian Empire - the so-called 'Dark Empire', due to their necromancer priest-queens. It's kind of an Egyptian/Arabic mash-up. The nations to the north and east of it are more traditionally Arabic, while the jungle nations in the northwest are an Aztec/African fusion. Far to the east are plains/Mongol barbarians.

Awesome map Diamond. I like it a lot. Nice compass too.

This is just fantastic, and very very well executed. The style, texture, and color palette are all superb I was wondering on how you did the trees, meaning they all look like the same tree but used repeatedly, could you tell me how you did that? Thanks!

Trees: simple but time-consuming. I just drew a tree, scanned it, and made a brush out of it. Then I placed every one individually (the time-consuming part ). The layer's set at 50% opacity (trees are black 000000) so they look like they blur out a bit and take on some of the background color.
Love this map looks great , Repped
I can only repeat my dA comment: beautiful!!!
I do like everything, that one is just amasing!
Like it has been said, the color palette, the style and everything are really nice, and the result make me jealous of your talent!
