Map for fantasy world

Hi,
I'm new on forum, but I'm looking at it for some time. Really great work, great maps, you have lots of talent here on forum. I dont know what else to say about that,keep it up

To keep it short, I'm writing a fantasy novel and I could use help on making a map.
I had this idea for story for some time, maybe year or so. In that time I just put some basic outlines, plot outline, maybe few attempts of drawing a map (roughly on paper).
In last few months I decided to give it a shot, I dont have a lot of text done yet, maybe chapter here and there. I showed it to few people and they liked it, they want more and encourage me to continue so..
I'll try, but it would be a lot easier to write if I had a map. I have an idea of how that world would look like, but I was more focused on story,plots,some events..I dont have fixed details, like rivers,lakes..so creator of the map can have artistic freedom on that.

And,yes I looked on WIP, WP or how it's called, unlabled maps and I saw great maps,but lot of them where already taken or used in different stories so..
I prefer unique map in that matter.

Al these maps are fantastic. Of course at this point I'm happy with more simple work.

Description of Map
As story revolves around magic that affects all, world map should be pangea form. One big continent. This is one more good map I just found. http://www.cartographersguild.com/al...chmentid=21533
I have one template so to say,of map found on the net (or maybe here), I like how land is distributed. I wrote a few guidelines on that

Quality & Size
Dont know about this, 1000x800, 1200x1000..is that ok? I'm no expert so maybe we can deal with this later.

Copyright

I will have copyright of the map.
The artist will retain copyright of the map. I will have the right to use the image for commercial purposes, the artist will have the right to exhibit the image as part of his portfolio but not to exploit it for commercial gain.

Not sure what to say here. Artist can have copyright of the map. If we „hit“ it right, I want to use his map in my novel. Credits for map always goes to artist,i think that's fine.

oh, I didnt expect an answer for soem time yet. Few days ago it crossed my mind that I didnt write anything about the story and what is it all about, so that somebody can get bit more intersted.
I have one rough skech that I dont like :-D
