Hello all!
I love reading books, and it always thrills me when the author and accompanying artist take the time and effort to more fully immerse me in their world (whether real or imagined) with a map. I always turn to the maps first and often try to memorize the characteristics of the world.
I have now found myself DM'ing for a group of friends, and my plans for the world they inhabit now mean I will need to provide them with at least a rough map. Thus, my registration here. I'm in awe of much of the art and vision, and look forward very much to attempting to learn, create, and (eventually) give back. First up will be a rough map of a capital coastal city (describing wards, with river, gates, and potentially walls and the palace). A bit ambitious, yes, but why not aim high?
I look forward to meeting and interacting with everyone here; from what I've read so far, this is a very generous community. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
