Thread: Hello.

    Post Hello.

I have been doing maps on paper for almost ten years, (granted they suck) I am looking at doing my map work on the computer now and found this site in my search.

My maps have always involved fictional planets, then moving into the continents, then the countries, then the townships, then the villages, etc.

2ed D&D all the way through 3.5 I have pumped out hundreds of maps covering non-existent sections of Abeir-Toril all the to itty bitty crypts and mausoleums.

I hope to share some of the work I do with you all and get some critical feed back and advice in how I can turn them into great pieces of work.

Wonderful! It sounds like you have mapping in your blood which is what we love to hear! Don't write off your hand drawn maps though, some of the best maps on this forum are hand drawn. There's something individual and spontaneous in a hand drawn map that computers cannot reproduce!

    Welcome to the guild!

Thanks for the warm welcome, I don't like my hand drawn maps, they take up to much room. Rather my wife doesn't like my hand drawn maps, they take up to much room. hehehe.
