Hello all,
I've been trawling your fine forum for nearly a year now, and have decided to stop leeching and start contributing. This will, of course, entail developing something I can contribute, but this is a minor detail.
I came to PS mapping through the process of writing a book detailing the 8000 year history of a fictional world. The project has expanded beyond all belief and sensible limits, and from my original "fantasy textbook" covering the whole period, I've reached the point where I've finished drafting out Volume 1, chronicling one Empire on one continent over the last 740 years.
I've hugely gained from the tutorials here, especially the Atlas-Style .pdf posted by someone awesome whose name I forget... I hope I can repay you with some interesting maps soon.
