Hi Ferkinason! I'm sure you will get as much help as you will need here - the Guild is very good that way! I hope we can help you realise your project! (toilet paper texture and all! lol!)
Welcome!
Hello fellow cartographers!
Cause I'm rather new here (just watched serveral maps by now) I wanted to introduce myself to all of you!
My name is Marco and I'm a student from Germany - so sorry for my many misspellings...
I recognised this forum while doing a "research" for my main hobby - P&P Roleplaying. ;-)
My main focus in this hobby is to describe a fanproject based world for the biggest german roleplaying game "Das Schwarze Auge". The eastern continent of this world is called Riesland (Rakshazar in our project) and is worked on since about 6 years. It is a very barbaric and dark continent pretty much as in the Conan stories of Robert E. Howard.
For this project I would like to contribute by designing a map in a very antique, but also gritty style.
As if an old and valuable map was used by barbarians as toilette paper...I hope you know what I mean.
So, I hope this forum and some of you can help in this project.

If someone (german speaking is necessary) here is interested in Rakshazar, this is the link:
