hi Aaron welcome to the guild - looking forward to seing your maps
Hi Guys. My name is Aaron Augustus. I like long walks on the beach, the soulful sound of the Backstreet Boys and a nice quiet dinner with that special someone....Oh wait. This isn't that dating website? Oh crap!
Anyways I've been oogling everyone's work here for quite some time now. I got this refurbished laptop from a friend of mine and it had GIMP on it. I used to dabble in it and so I decided to check out some ways people were using the program. Let me tell you guys that you're the only ones that kept my interest. Listening to old Yale lectures while trying my hand at making a map from your tutorials is really a great form of relaxation. I'll be posting some of the attempts soon so I can get you guys to beat me up a bit.

I wish we had laptops when I was in college, I just had to doodle in the margins of my notes all day. Welcome aboard, matey.
