Welcome to the group!
Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi... i'm new to cartography guild... but not to mapping.
i'm going to school right now for geomatics applications specialist, and i'm an avid rper.
my maps are mostly used in my games.. and i use gis software to make large realm maps, and somethig like cc3 dungeon designer or illustrator and photoshop to make my floorplan size maps..
i'm here to get hints on creating realms and such, since i'm doing just that..
I've started what i like to call "Project OWL" or the Online World Library..
a completely free website where I hope to create an online collaborative world for Roleplaying and such... basically, users contribute their ideas to add and fill in details about the realm, where others use them in their campaigns, adding their own flair, and therefore creating more information.
it can be found at http://www.projectowl.org
I'm just starting out, so theres much to be done, but i'm always looking for people to help build the realm...
Welcome to the group!

Welcome loogie. I'm sure you'll find what you are looking for here, and if you dont just ask someone. For starters have a look under the thread entitled "Thinking big about guild maps". This is a project that sounds similar to what you are doing and I'm sure your expertise would be invaluable.

Welcome, loogie, to the Guild. If you like mapping, you'll love this place.
Post some of your work - we would all love to see it.
