I've been pillaging the forum for a few days and thought i would finally pop in to say my hello's.
I am Chuck and I am most interested in cartography to map out some of the stories i write.
This is such a wonderful font of knowledge that I was in dire need of, so thank you for all the inspiration so far.

This is a very rough start but i definitely am going to be sticking to a 2d style, much inspired by the maps in the Wheel of Time series.
I just finished the mountain range today and would like to thank ironmetal250 for his hand-drawn map elements tutorial for the help.
My next venture is forests and rivers. looking for a few good tutorials to this effect, but any ideas would be grand
