I am a beginner. I need classroom lessons or personal tuition (yes, I'll pay) to teach me to use Inkscape - within twenty miles, say of Harrow, Middlesex UK. Is there anyone who might help?

Many thanks. I have tried tutorials but get stuck with no one to ask. Hence my preference for a real teacher. I wonder if anyone might teach on conference call?
Best regards
James
e-learning is very popular these day so that might be possible and with skype and similar programs its easy as well.

As Tilt said, I think if you install a program such as VNC or use the remote desktop features of windows & Skype or Ventrilo then you could get tuition from anywhere in the world. You could paypal an hourly rate for Inkscape tutorial service a bit like learning the piano. Posting on here for someone in a specific location is unlikely to get you a result. We have a members location map which you could check - a link in my sig, on the community menu or from the front page. The members here are very spread out and mostly in the US. However, if you get remote desktop then this would be a good place to ask for help.
I lean't my initial inkscape from the HeathenX screencasts. There haven;t been any new ones for a while, but I'd suggest watching them and following along from the beginning:
