Lovely. Using black only for the radiation symbols really makes them stand out. Nice!
@Diamond - ah that makes sense. That brings up an odd dichotomy as the grunge (caused by wear or the grain of the paper) should be scale independent - but that's never going to work with a scaling font. Perhaps a little light wear over the top of the whole set of line art in a mask to hint at wear elsewhere? Again, it's a small thing.

Another fine work Diamond!

Thank you, guys.
I'm trying to avoid any obvious Fallout comparisons, but inevitably it's gonna happen...
Great map! Looks like a cool setting, too. I'm not really familiar with Fallout, but it seems the whole post-apocalyptic genre was established long before it came along, and is still going strong.
I think the coastline is way to accurate and detailed, and don't really fit the style that the mountain/hill brushes has established. But it's up to you ofc, I would probably go for a more handdrawn style, tho.
Sweet stuff, Diamond. Fallout? I had to look up Fallout; my mental echo was that it has a taste of Horseclans about it :-). Yeah, any post-apocalyptic setting is going to somewhat echo others... unless you pick a location so offbeat that readers won't even get the changes you made. Post-apocalyptic Argentina wouldn't be as fun for me, since I wouldn't immediately get the before/after stuff. What you're doing is great, and I'll want to take a look at the book(s) once they're published !
Nicely done!

I love the map and think the style you used is a perfect fit for the flavor of the text.
Really great map!
The senario reminds me of Fallout.
