Looking for Cartographers
We are creating a map for the wine producing regions in Lebanon, and looking for cartographers to map the areas. There are 9 regions in total, with 35 wineries, and the job needs to be done in the next 2 weeks. There is a budget (around USD1,500) for the task, and any interested parties should get in touch here...

Besides the usual information in the sticky post, for a real world mapping project you should also give a clear idea of the data available and what form it's in. What kind of technical precision you need and what the target audience and use cases are would also be important.
Sounds interesting. More info would be helpful considering the short deadline.

Indeed this does sound interesting. Did the request get pulled or are there more details forthcoming? (Side note: 1500.00 for 35 maps is an average 42.00 each if I understand the budget correctly.)
I assume this is for commercial purposes?
It might be helpful to have Google earth locations for reference on the wineries and the level of detail required.

It sounds to me like one map covering all the regions? If so it will be important to know what size the map needs to be, what resolution and some idea of the style you are looking for.
