Oh, its because I forgot to crop the sea out of the river part. Doh! Silly me.
I think your adjustments to the sea turned out really well: land really stands out better now. On the other hand, to my eye it seems that your rivers are a bit on the bright side. Don't really have any recommendations for fixing this unfortunately though, but just thought I'd point it out as something for you to think about.

Loving the new version of the sea... looks really good. And overall great quality map. My only concern comes back to your initial comment - this is supposed to be a continent sized landmass by earth standards - is that right? Or am I misunderstanding your intro? To me it looks more like an island with a large mountain range running through it - if this is on a par with an earth continent or even a large island (Australia?) then I would expect it to be more varied geographically.
I changed it a bit after I made the initial thing. It is the southern tip of a northern Wooded Elf continent. The reason im focusing on this tip is because the Humans recently reclaimed parts of the tip. For the size. Think Australia except thinner and more vertically stretched. The reason for it being so wooded and only a few variances that aren't in the elves control is. 1. Because the elves have great power and they want it be that way. 2. Its a very northern Island(continent).
And the main continent is the size of earth itself. So the world is huge in size.
Couldn't work on this one today..
Edited the size of the continent to something like this (I basically changed it to a very large Island in real life terms. Except a bit smaller.):

The cities are supposed to be mega-sprawls? Otherwise, they are too big.
Also, if the brownish sprawls are cities, what the grey circles are?
The grey circles are towers. And the cities are a bit symbolic and not to actual scale.
