    Default Aerial Nevada

Someone has managed to get some good shots of Nevada by flying a load of bin liner, trash bags filled with helium and a camera. Quite impressive shots. The thing that struck me tho is the city layouts.

Anyway, a lot of images to use for modern street plans but these are kinda odd when compared to street layouts in my country.

Cool pics. Vegas is a very strange place. You don't see street grids like that much of anywhere else that I've seen...it's mostly flat and mostly new construction so the go-to is nice straight grids. I do like flying in/out and looking down at everything. The Luxor (the hotel with the pyramid) is cool at night because of the light shining up.

http://www.cr.nps.gov/nr/publication...sub_landsc.htm suggests why that sort of layout might be used.
