Hallos all, new member NCA777 saying hi! Erm, probably should say something.... well I scribble novels and short stories in my "spare" time...and make maps to go with them! In particular fantasy genres are my main thing. I'm really looking forward to learning more about how to make my maps better from all of you guys and gals; I've already picked up some hints on coastlines from the article which brought me to this site! (now if I can just get my mountains to be more than inverted v's and my trees more than green fuzzy bits....) I'm a student at heart with study in Linguistics and Anthropology - mostly Celtic based - and hopeful *fingers crossed* prospective grad student, but tech support is my job d'jour. Currently living 30 miles from West Nowheresville in Forsaken, USA so I have lots of free time for my projects, when my cats aren't sitting on me. I also talk too much.This forum rocks!
