This is looking very good, except for one annoying detail. The tiers of lines off the shores of lakes and sea look out of place in this map, they just don't mix well with the overall style of it.
A map based (very) loosely on the NBC tv show 'Kings', starring Ian McShane. Most of the names and geographic layout were taken from the Kings website (can't believe it's still up two years after NBC unjustly axed this great show), but I had to guess at the actual coastline and placement of cities, etc.
According to the tv show, the total land area of Gilboa is 141,299 square kilometers, so Gilboa is a bit smaller in area than France.
'Kings' and all related content are copyright NBC.

I don't know the series, but I like the map!
Nicely done!
I enjoyed that show as well, and was disappointed when it wasn't renewed.

I love your lakes and coastlines - were they generated with fractals? They seem so much more natural than most fractals I've gotten stuck with.
Really liking this, a soft, clean style well executed!
