Hmmm...this afternoon I came with an idea for a traveling city located on the back/shoulders of an enormous, lumbering giant. This should be fun...
November month's challenge is to map a vehicle, anything from a pair of roller skates to an Imperial Cruiser or beyond is allowed as long as its a vehicle (as usual it is up to the voters to judge that). So if you want to map the Flintstones car, USS Nimitz or the Millennium Falcon - go ahead so long as its a map. You can make it as a battle map or just a map showing where things go on the ship/car/bike/etc. or as usual feel free to improvise
Don't forget to follow the Mapping Challenge rules.
This challenge will end on the 27th of November. The winner will get a shiny golden compass added to their profile.

Such timing, I have been in a major starship mood all week . Still I stand no chance against some of the vehicular talent on this site I will still try and give it a shot.

People come and people go. I walk amongst them, I see their faces; but none see mine. I pass them in the streets but nary a glance is spared my way, for what interest would they have in a Wanderer? Not of this world... Forever Alone... Forever Wandering... LoneWandererD...

RIP Angel "Ingy" Yates - The first inspiration that guided me towards art. You will be missed...
Guess I should have saved my deckplans...

I've been collecting reference pictures to do a passenger liner, the SS Ophir, but we've already got a passenger liner...might do it anyway.
Ooooh ... this one looks fun. Now I have to come up with a fun idea that would also fit in with my campaign setting ... hmmm ... giant blastocyst shaped air-ship? Meh ... can't let players get air-ships, they always go ape-guano over the setting if they get something like that. Crab walkers seem to have been done extensively already ... but maybe a small magickal university built on top of a giant gong supported by four undead elephants ... nope, been done.
Maybe a settlement built on top of a giant mechanickal centipede ... a walking, huffing, puffing ore-refiner or something like that ... hmmm
It sucks being so busy at this time, I have a mind to create a war frigate of the British Navy with full deck plans. I've been watching reruns of Horatio Hornblower on Youtube and the shows have given me some insight on interior ship plans - that and finding a 17th illustration (side view) of a Spanish Galleon. Both being great for reference. I'm just too busy to get to it by end of month. Oh, well.

Wish I had time to participate in this! Then again, I have a hankering to do a mech of some sort, which is really more token territory than mapping.
I actually just came up with a rad concept but I'm already working on an entry. A New York city subway map circa mid-70s annotated with the gang territories from Warriors.
