Eric Stratton, rush chair, damn glad to meet ya.
Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself. I live on the east coast of Canada and I've had a thing for cartography since I was a kid and first delved into Tolkien. Like many folks here I've got a campaign world I've worked on for many, many years...modern software has made mapping a lot easier (although I do sometimes miss my old black, white and red handmade maps).
Other than this, my hobbies include music (bass, guitar, harmonica), hiking, role playing games (obviously) and paying strangers money to consider my PhD applications.
My current cartography software includes ProFantasy's CC3 (and CD3, plus various addons); Fractal Terrains 3; GIMP (completely new to it...figuring it out) and Wilbur (same comment).
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and learning a bunch of new tricks.
Cheers!
Eric Stratton, rush chair, damn glad to meet ya.
